Employee Assistance Programme  - support your staff

We know that many education staff are suffering with stress and burnout. As experts in education, we can help you to help them. Our mission is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of teachers and education staff because we believe that better mental health leads to better education.

We know from our Teacher Wellbeing Index 2024 that:

78%

of all education staff are stressed

77%

of all staff experience symptoms of poor mental health due to work

50%

believed that their organisation’s culture had a negative effect on their wellbeing

Wouldn’t it be great if you could address these issues head on and offer your staff the support they deserve?

Working in education comes with unique challenges which require unique solutions. Here's where our specialist education-focused Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) comes in - when staff are supported and feel good, they are better teachers.

Our EAP is a school wellbeing service tailored specifically for schools, colleges and other education organisations, that gives teachers and education staff confidential support and guidance, just when they need it.

We sought you out...not just to reduce absence or pay lip service to wellbeing. We really want our staff to feel like if they are going through something, even if it’s external to work, that we are here to support them

What is an Employee Assistance Programme?

An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is an employee benefit that provides 24/7 expert advice and support for your staff to help them with any issues that may be affecting their mental health and wellbeing. An EAP includes counselling and practical support and advice on both personal and work-related issues, with the aim of increasing staff wellbeing, productivity and performance, as well as reducing absences.

Why do you need an EAP?

Your staff are stressed and burnt out. We know that 78% of staff are stressed and 77% of all staff experience symptoms of poor mental health due to work and you can address these issues head on by giving your staff the support they deserve.

By doing so, the benefits of improved colleague wellbeing will be felt throughout your organisation.

Here are some of the positive effects that schools who work with us already have told us about:

  • Improved staff retention, reduced sickness absence and less presenteeism
  • Improved organisational efficiency and enhanced management capacity
  • Colleagues who are confident that you care for their welfare and meet your duty of care for their mental health
  • A healthier and more productive work environment.
What drew us to you is that you were very clear that it is tailored for the education sector and that you understand the trials, tribulations and pressures and stresses that exist for our kinds of staff specifically
