Stress management & self-regulation: workshop for LSA's and TA's in Wales

An interactive, practical workshop providing support and guidance for learning support and teaching assistants in Wales.

This funded workshop will look at our perception of stress, how it shows up for us and how we manage stress and self-regulate as well as exploring any changes we need to make in order to reduce stress.

During this interactive session you will:

  • Gain an understanding of what stress is, how it shows up for you and what it does to your body
  • Explore what prevents you from being able to make changes or reduce stress
  • Learn some tools and techniques for helping you to self-regulate
  • Practice methods to reduce stress
  • Discover the importance of rest
  • Experience time for reflection

Who should attend?

This fully-funded workshop is for all teaching assistants or learning support assistants in Wales.

Things you need to know

Please ensure you have a working camera and microphone as this session is interactive and provides space for participants to chat through their thoughts, share best practice and engage in discussions. Having your camera on also helps facilitate a safe space for everyone. If you need to leave a session early, or log off for any reason, please make us aware so that we know you are okay (you can do this by leaving a message in the chat box).
